Why palette knife?

Palette knives invite looseness and energy. You’ll learn to build rich textures, push color confidently, and keep your paintings lively—perfect for florals and birds with personality and movement. The series emphasizes texture, color, and composition in a relaxed, encouraging environment so you can find your voice while you paint.

What class looks like

Each meeting begins with a 30-minute demo from Olga, followed by guided work time where you’ll develop paintings over two to three classes—ideal for layered surfaces and deeper refinement. Expect step-by-step instruction and individual feedback.

What to bring

This series is bring-your-own supplies—please review the studio Supply List (linked on the class page) so you’re set up for success from day one.
