Recommended experience: Needle-Felted Birds Level I, or some other needle felting experience.
Take your needle felting skills to the next level by creating birds with detailed wings and wire feet.
We’ll create the bird shape from white core wool, discussing best practices for building and refining three-dimensional forms with wool.
We’ll create wings, tails, beaks, legs, and feet, including options for different ways to make our birds more abstract or more realistic, and choose realistic colors or colors from our imaginations to bring our creations to life!
All supplies will be provided, including:
- Enough wool to make several birds.
- A needle felting kit to take home and continue crafting
If you have taken the introductory class Needle-Felted Birds, Level I and you have a bird from that class (finished or unfinished) you have the option to bring it and add to it in this class! Or you can start a new bird from scratch.
Note: felting needles are very sharp and should be handled with care.
