Discover the vibrant world of glass fusing! Join us for a creative and relaxing workshop where you will learn to design and craft your very own functional glass art. Whether you want to create a decorative soap dish, a unique trinket tray, or a stunning tea light holder, this class is the perfect introduction to the colorful possibilities of kiln-fired glass.

What to Expect:

In this hands-on session, you’ll be guided through the basics of glass fusion. You will work with a variety of professional materials, including:

  • Sheet Glass: Learn to layer different colors and textures.
  • Glass Frit: Use crushed glass to create beautiful gradients or speckled “confetti” effects (as seen in our abstract designs).
  • Glass Stringers: Add delicate lines and geometric details.
  • Pre-cut Shapes: Easily create floral patterns like daisies or bold geometric motifs.

Design Your Vision:

Our instructors will help you assemble your masterpiece. You can choose to go Abstract, playing with bold stripes and cobalt blue textures; Botanical, layering greens and whites to create a garden-inspired daisy dish; or Modern, using sharp geometric angles and high-contrast colors.

The Magic of the Kiln:

Once your design is assembled, we will fire it in our professional kiln. During the “Full Fuse” stage, the glass melts together into a smooth, solid piece. Then, it undergoes a “Slump” firing over a mold to give it its elegant, curved functional shape.
