The Beginner Youth Art Class offers an ideal introduction for students starting their artistic journey or seeking to explore diverse art materials and techniques. During the Winter Term, the focus will be on principles of design, including balance, emphasis, pattern, as well as an introduction to visual storytelling and spatial representation.
Students will deepen their understanding of space and perspective, including atmospheric and multi-point approaches, while developing compelling visual narratives. They will utilize advanced techniques to craft dynamic compositions aimed at storytelling and conveying specific emotions effectively.
Bring your favorite little artist (or grandchild, niece, or special kiddo) and spend a cozy morning making holiday memories!
Each pair will receive six wooden ornaments to paint, collage, and decorate together. We’ll have everything you need — patterned papers, stickers, sequins, glitter, paint pens, and string for hanging your creations proudly on the tree.
