Oil Painting with Jamie Lightfoot: Late Winter

Immerse yourself in the captivating world of oil painting this late winter and early spring. This class blends the best of both worlds: focused instruction paired with the freedom of open studio time. It’s ideal for beginners building strong foundations and experienced painters refining technique, developing personal projects, and deepening their artistic voice in a supportive studio environment.
Each 2-hour class begins with 30 minutes of structured, instructor-led teaching. Jamie will demonstrate key oil painting concepts, techniques, color mixing strategies, composition ideas, or introduce an optional guided project designed to strengthen skills and spark inspiration.
The remaining 90 minutes is open studio time. You’re free to work on the day’s project, continue an independent painting, or explore new ideas at your own pace. Jamie will circulate throughout the studio offering individualized feedback, problem-solving support, and guidance tailored to your goals.
